I spoke to my contact at Blue Ox and he told me there was a couple of different steps you could take to correct the issue of the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR pushing against the front seat of your 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
He said that you can press the Patriot up against the seat pan under your front seat. This will keep your Patriot from hitting the manual seat adjustment bar and moving your seat backwards.
He also said that the push pad is adjustable... view full answer...
The Canine Covers Custom-Fit Vehicle Cargo Area Liner # DCL6314CH is designed to fit with your seats either up or down, but you could probably make it work in your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with one of the seats up and one down. It wouldn't be as secure a fit as having both seats either up or down but I don't see why you couldn't do this if you wanted.
I have added a link to a video reivew of this cover for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The power wire of the Tekonsha trailer wiring kit part # 118727 needs to run to the battery of the vehicle so for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee you'd need to run it to the battery under the seat. Check out the install video link I attached for more info. view full answer...

First thing you want to do to set up your Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional Item # HM39524 in your 1994 Jeep Wrangler is make sure your seat is slid all the way back. Second make sure the brake pedal clamp is not on the unit when you set it on the floor board. Place the unit on the floor, in front of the seat, with the arm centered on the brake pedal. Adjust feet for necessary height. Add the clamp on the brake pedal and attach to unit arm with pin... view full answer...
There isn't a specific place that the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 has to be installed on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Under the seat is the easiest place to install it but if there is something in the way such as an under seat storage box then it can be installed elsewhere. If you wanted to install it in the engine compartment and there is space then you can certainly put it there.

Absolutely. The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 typically installs under the driver's seat for easy accessibility but it is not the only place it can be mounted. You can mount it anywhere in your towed vehicle that is convenient for you as long as you can still access the adjustment knob. For example, we have installed that unit under the passenger side seat and in the rear cargo area for customers that preferred those locations. As long as you follow the... view full answer...

I spoke with my contact at SMI and he advised not to install the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251, which you referenced, under the seat but to install it on the toe kick per the installation instructions. He said it will not work if placed under the seat because the unit needs to be mounted level as it is working off inertia.
The operating unit measures 8" long x 6-1/4" x 2-1/2" tall. (See photo.)
He said the units have been fitted in all new Jeep models and that they will fit, you will just... view full answer...

Each of the portable supplemental braking systems, such as the Blue Ox Patriot you referenced, require a working 12V accessory outlet in your 1995 Jeep YJ. You should be able to use 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 for this as it will bypass a corroded or damaged 12-volt socket.
Another option is to use a system that is permanently installed in your vehicle such as the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motorhomes with Air Brakes # SM99243 or the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental... view full answer...
There is not an exact location that the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 must be mounted on your 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As long as the controller is within reach and in-line with the direction of travel, the mounting location does not matter. We typically install the controllers on the drivers kick panel right around where your right knee would be while seated in the driver's seat. This has to do with both accessibility and ease of installation.

The ideal location for the controller box of the InvisiBrake, # RM-8700, is under the drivers or passengers seat. However, it can be mounted anywhere in the interior of the vehicle; under the rear seats, in the trunk, or behind panels.
